Crackings

Serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch, Crackings is a great place to enjoy an Easter brunch. I’d start with the Famous Lobster Gouda Grits then move on to one of their delicious omelets. Here are two of my favorites. The Coastal Omelet stuffed with shrimp, lump crab meat, tomato, green onion, and lots of cheese as well as the Rajun Cajun. Imagine a shrimp and crawfish boil nestled in a blanket of eggs. Enjoy with a Mimosa or Bloody Mary! Crackings is located in Destin at 979 Highway 98 East. Harry T’s

For an Easter Sunday brunch with a view head over to Harry T’s. Located right on the beautiful Destin Harbor, Harry T’s serves a delicious brunch with breathtaking views. Indulge in bottomless Mimosas and the freshest of seafood, truly a Gulf to Table experience. It’s a great place for the kiddos too. They’ll love watching the boats drive by and the occasional Dolphin sightings.

Brunch is served every Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm at 790. The menu offers delicious dishes that are Louisiana inspired. Start with the French Quarter Beignets, followed by Crispy Grouper Grits. A fresh, lightly floured, and fried fillet sitting on southern Havarti cheese grits with smoked Cajun Andouille sausage on the side. The endless brunch beverage does not stop at Mimosas. 790 also offers endless Champagne and Bellinis!

Ovide

This posh restaurant inside the new Hotel Effie serves brunch with your favorite jazz tunes from live local talent. Specialties include Lump Crab Avocado Toast and Braised Pork Belly with a Sunny Side Up Egg. Enjoy a cocktail with your meal or head upstairs to the famous rooftop bar for breathtaking views of the beach and the bay!

Bitterroot

This premiere establishment is Destin’s place to go for high-end cuisine in an intimate setting. Sunday brunch is no exception offering an impressive menu of skillfully crafted cocktails along with delicious fare. Some of our favorite brunch staples are Shrimp & Grits, Steak & Eggs, and French Omelet with Brie. If breakfast is not your thing, they have delicious sandwiches and salads on the menu for brunch as well.

Of course, nothing beats an Easter Sunday Brunch in the comfort of your Destin Condo Rental. Wake up to the smell of fresh roasted coffee and enjoy a cup on the balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
