Tricks: Remember to apply sunblock before you put your swimsuit on. This will keep all areas of your body protected especially when your swimsuit shifts when playing on the beach. One application is never enough. Apply throughout the day, especially when you get out of the water.

Tips: A big beach hat. Not only stylish, a big beach hat will keep the sun off your face, ears, and neck. Nothing says beach rookie like big red sunburned ears!

Tricks: A good beach hat should sport nothing less than a 3-inch brim. Everyone is uniquely built so when buying that perfect beach hat make sure it fully covers your ears and neck. Choosing one that is well fitted will also help you from losing it on a windy day.

Tips: Sunglasses save your eyes from the potent sun. Also fashionable, sunglasses provide a barrier between your eyes and the sun’s strong rays. For a successful day at the beach make sure to protect those baby blues.

Tricks: Choose sunglasses that protect against both UVA and UVB light. You want the highest level of protection you can find. Good news, there are plenty of products that are stylish and affordable offering the highest of protection!

Tips: Beach towels are not only colorful but necessary for a successful day at the beach. Rookie mistake that we have all made. Forgetting to pack a beach towel than trying to rely on a regular bath towel provided in your Destin condo rental. Be honest, we’ve all done it and it just doesn’t work.

Tricks: Pack a beach towel as well as a large top sheet. Use the towel to dry off with and the sheet to layout on. This way you are not drying off with a sandy towel. The sheet will keep the sand where it belongs, on the beach and not all over you!
