Our Favorite Ways to Ring In the New Year in Destin

Can you believe it's almost time to say farewell to 2022? I guess time flies when you’re having fun on powder white sand beaches and the emerald-green Gulf of Mexico. If you’re visiting these beaches during the holiday, then you’ll want to ring in 2023 at some of our favorite New Year’s Eve events.

HarborWalk Village invites you to spend New Year’s Eve celebrating on the beautiful Destin Harbor! Dance your way into 2023 with live music from Flash Flood at 7pm and The New Royals at 9:30pm. We love that this celebration offers two fireworks shows. One at 8pm for families and the other at midnight along with a ball drop for those ready to countdown to a new year. This party is free and open to the public, so reservations and tickets are not required.

Baytowne Wharf is ready to count down to the new year with a night full of excitement! It’s family fun from 6-8pm with face painting, kids’ activities, music from DJ TreVy from 5-7pm, and fireworks at 8pm. The party continues with live music from Bay Kings Band from 7pm-1am and a breathtaking firework show at midnight. This event is free and open to the public so join in the New Year festivities.

One of our favorite Cajun inspired restaurants invites you to celebrate with them. 790’s Annual New Year’s Eve celebration begins at 3pm with food and drink specials. DJ begins at 9pm for dancing and fun. Then a count down at midnight to ring in 2023! Reservations are required.

There’s no better way to ring in the New Year than at your cozy Destin Condo Rental overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
